(f)low visibility

2008
Multimedia interactive installation

As a site responsive artwork, (f)low visibility, was produced for a fetish nightclub called Torture Garden, (March 2008) and was active for three hours. (f)low visibility, invited participants to wear miniature video cameras on their hands and to interact with objects that also had miniature cameras affixed to them. These miniature cameras were linked to projectors which projected a live feed from all miniature cameras onto a wall. Participants not only interacted with the real space that they were in, but also, with the imaginary site of the projections. To investigate, within my practice-based PhD project, notions of subject and object relationality, voyeurism, surveillance, intimacy between strangers, and interior/exterior bodily relationships.
